In the Antwerp underground there are dozens of kilometers of metro tunnels, a large portion is not being used… One of those lines will soon be finished – after 30 years! – and be taken into use. During a celebration event the tunnel was open for the public. A unique opportunity.
All kinds of ‘urban legends’ were spread around these tunnels. From mushroom farms and tramps to mummified cats that were haunting the tunnels. Didn’t see any of them. But what I did see: there really is light at the end of the tunnel! 🙂
