The Wait, March 2020

This is a prelude to the next post, about the lockdown (which isn’t one). These are photos that I took during my first exploration of an empty Antwerp. With the observation that Antwerp wasn’t as empty as I expected… I had expected an abandoned metro station, but there were still a dozen of people, mostly young people, waiting for a tram.

The photo without people is one I also included in the next post (Ceci n’est pas un lockdown), the two others do not really fit in that series, which is why I included them in this separate blog.
